In 1998, Robert L. Carey, Jr., one of the founding partners of Production Supply Company, took over the management of Metal Sales. Joined by his son, Robert L. Carey, III, the two businessmen set out to become a complete marine distributor.

With a satellite branch in Norfolk, Virginia, and a home office just outside of New Orleans, Louisiana, Metal Sales remains attentive to it's MARINE base; however, it continues to expand and seek out customers within the DEFENSE, DISTRIBUTION, and GENERAL FABRICATION industries.

Metal Sales has the largest CNC Milling cababilities of any Metal Service Center operating 3 CNC Milling Routers the largest being 8 ft wide by 40 ft long. This allows us to supply complex contoru finished Aluminum Parts for our customers
